PM Modi remembers Kalyan Singh
In Aligarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh. ‘I am very much feeling the absence of Late Kalyan Singh ji today,’ he remarked. If Kalyan Singh ji were still alive today, Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh would be overjoyed to see Aligarh’s new identity emerge in the State University and Defense Sector.
PM Modi will lay the foundation for a portion of the Defense Corridor being built in Uttar Pradesh at Aligarh. The Defense Corridor, which will be established here, will manufacture weapons to suit the country’s security demands. Aligarh will produce small guns, drones, Air Force parts, and anti-drone equipment. A total of Rs 1245 crore would be invested by 19 firms. The formation of the Defense Corridor will provide new employment opportunities for the youngsters of western Uttar Pradesh.
